Account & Settings
Manage your profile, notifications, billing, and security from Dashboard → Settings.
Profile settings
Your profile includes your full name, company name, and preferred language. These are used as defaults when generating policies — your company name, for example, pre-fills the brand name field. Update them any time in Settings → Profile.
Changing your email address
Go to Settings → Profile and click the email field to change it. You'll receive a verification email to your new address. Your login email will update once verified. Note: if you signed up with Google, your email is managed by your Google account.
Changing your password
Go to Settings → Security and click Change password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice. Passwords must be at least 8 characters. If you signed up with Google or another social login, you don't have a password — you authenticate via that provider.
Billing
View and manage your subscription from Dashboard → Billing. From there you can:
- View your current plan and usage
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan
- Update your payment card
- Download invoices and receipts
- Cancel your subscription
Cancellation
Cancel any time from the billing page. Your subscription continues until the end of the current billing period — you won't be charged again after that. All your generated policies remain accessible after cancellation; you just won't be able to generate new ones on a paid quota.
Data export & deletion
Exporting your data
You can download a ZIP of all your generated policies at any time from Settings → Privacy. The export includes policy content in JSON and plain text formats, plus your profile data.
Deleting your account
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, all generated policies, and all billing data. This action is irreversible — download your data first if you want to keep it.
Notifications
PolicifyAI sends transactional emails for: account verification, password reset, payment receipts, team invitations, and plan expiry warnings. Marketing emails can be opted out from the unsubscribe link in any email or from Settings → Notifications.
Security
Active sessions
View all active login sessions from Settings → Security. You can revoke any session (e.g. if you left yourself logged in on a public computer) by clicking Sign out next to the session.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) via authenticator app is available. Enable it from Settings → Security → Two-factor authentication. Once enabled, you'll be prompted for a code on each new login.
