Client Management
Client records let you organise your agency workspace by client. Each client has their own profile, default settings, and policy list — separate from your own policies and from other clients.
Creating a client
Go to Agency → Clients and click Add client. Fill in:
- Client name — the business name (e.g. “Acme Corp Ltd”)
- Website URL — the client's primary domain (e.g.
acme.com) - Industry — used as a default when generating policies
- Default jurisdiction — pre-fills the jurisdiction field for new policies
- Notes — internal notes visible only to your team (not clients)
Generating policies for a client
Open any client record and click Generate policy. The generation form pre-fills the client's name, domain, industry, and jurisdiction. The generated policy is automatically associated with the client and appears in their policy list.
You can also generate from the main Generate page and link the policy to a client during generation using the Client dropdown field.
Client site limits
| Plan | Client limit |
|---|---|
| Agency Starter | 20 active clients |
| Agency Pro | 75 active clients |
| Agency Scale | Unlimited |
Archived clients don't count toward your active client limit. If you reach your limit, archive inactive clients or upgrade your plan.
Sharing policies with clients
Direct link
Every policy has a shareable link. Open the policy and click Share to copy the URL. The client can view the policy without a PolicifyAI account.
PDF delivery
Export as PDF and email or upload to your client portal. With white-label branding enabled, the PDF shows your agency name and logo — not PolicifyAI.
Embed on their site
Use the embed script to place the policy directly on the client's website. The policy auto-updates whenever you regenerate it. See Embed on your site.
Client-scoped API keys
Create API keys scoped to a specific client in Agency → API & Webhooks. These keys can only access that client's policies — useful for client-side integrations where you don't want to expose agency-wide access.
Archiving and deleting
Archiving a client hides them from your active list and frees up a client slot. Their policies are preserved and can be restored. Deleting a client permanently removes the client record and all associated policies — this cannot be undone.
